Sergeant Major (R) Tony James
Tony James is a native of Mississippi. He entered the Army in 1989 attending Infantry One Station Unit Training (OSUT) at Fort Benning, GA.
During his service he served in all Infantry leadership positions from Team Leader to Command Sergeant Major mostly in FORSCOM V coded positions. Tony is a graduate of the Primary, Basic, and Advanced Noncommissioned Officer Courses, US Army First Sergeant Course (Class 06-04), US Army Sergeants Major Academy (Class 59), Ranger School (Class 10-94), Airborne School, Air Assault School, Drill Sergeant School, Fast Rope Infiltration Exfiltration System (FRIES) Master Course, Rappel Master Course, and the Combat Lifesaver Course. He holds a Master of Science in Health Science from Trident University and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Touro University. Sergeant Major (R) James served with distinction for 22 years in institutional formations, peacekeeping environments, and in full spectrum combat operations leading the way for others to follow.
Sergeant Major (R) James retired from active Duty in 2011, where he then contracted in Kuwait, Afghanistan, the UAE, and now works from home as a Defense Contractor for Competitive Range Solutions, LLC.
